In Need of a Washing Machine

Food for Paws

Thanks to all of the many people who have been donating food, litter and other pet products to Food for Paws. This program helps citizens who are having financial difficulties and may have to make the hard decision to release their dog or cat to a shelter or rescue organization. We are currently very low on cat food. We accept all brands of cat food and litter. Bring your donations to the Chesterfield County Animal Shelter during regular business hours so that our feline friends can stay with their families.

Food for Paws wishes to thank Barbara and John Kline for their generous donation of pet food and supplies to help keep companion pets in their homes. The Kline's will continue to accept donations at their business, Old Dominion Tire Service, located at 3111 Warbro Road in Midlothian. Thank you again for helping the community companion pets.

Emergency and Weather Closing of Adoption Events

The weather will soon be in the land of unpredictable and it may be necessary to cancel adoption events. We will try to notify you by Facebook as soon as the decision is made. Make sure that you check Facebook the morning of the event for changes.
